Abstract

Cadw is the Welsh Government's historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales. Cadw have a requirement for a qualified and experienced contractor to deliver the reorganisation and structural alterations of the visitor centre at Kidwelly Castle. The current scope of works comprise of the following: MEP strip out and moving of existing services; Structural alterations to roof structure (removing timber tiles and installing new steel strapping); Raising existing floor level (additional structural timber floor build-up); Internal finishing (stud walling, plaster-boarding, painting, etc); and MEP installations. All bidders are encouraged to visit site prior to submitting their bid and contact details of how to arrange a site visit are included in the tender pack.
