This requirement covers a number of locations across South Wales including, but not limited to, the below area’s;

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Hafod are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced contractor to carry out the assessment of, and where required, supply and instillation of replacement external composite and fire doors in Hafod domestic and commercial properties. This requirement covers a number of locations across South Wales including, but not limited to, the below area’s;

The primary purpose of the contract will be to identify doors in need of replacement and, following approval from Hafod, supply and install new and dispose of old in line with the rates and specifications tendered in response to this opportunity. Bidders will be required to submit a fixed schedule of rates to complete the works, to include all preliminary costs with provisional sums clearly identified. Bidders should note that no additional preliminary costs will be paid for any contractor delay(s).
The properties will be occupied during the works, and as such the appointed contractor will need to demonstrate the ability to manage appropriate tenant liaison.

The appointed contractors will be expected to maintain a close relationship with Hafod during the delivery of the works and liaise regularly on project progress.

right not to award any contract pursuant to this procurement exercise and/or to abandon this procurement exercise at any time and/or to award a contract for part of the services at its sole discretion. Hafod shall have no liability whatsoever to any applicant or tenderer as a result of its exercise of that discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, all costs incurred by any applicant and/or tenderer before signature of any contract with Hafod shall be incurred entirely at that applicant's/tenderer's risk.
