Description of the goods or services required

The Local Places for Nature (LNP) pan Wales project is concerned with delivering natural capital assets for the people of Wales to enhance well-being, and form a nature recovery network. In urban and peri urban areas where people live, work and receive services.

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking to procure a suitably qualified contractor for the installation of a living wall at Venue Cymru, Llandudno which will provide valuable green infrastructure for the benefit of the community, visitors and biodiversity and so help Conwy to meet these objectives.

The design, establishment, installation and initial 12month maintenance of a modular soil based biodiverse living wall system framing the car park (southern) fire escape, Venue Cymru, Promenade, Llandudno, LL30 1BB.

The living wall system will be made from recycled materials, incorporate organically grown media and a fully automatic irrigation system.

Site visits: The double fire doors and carpark entrance to Venue Cymru as shown in images 1 and 2 in the Specification document can be viewed and accessed by suppliers from the adjacent Llandudno Swimming Centre Public Car Park, Mostyn Broadway,LL30 1YR.
