HDD-ITT-48692 Supply and Installation of Fire Alarm System WGH Residential Accommodation Block

Description of the goods or services required

Hywel Dda University Health board has a tender requirement the supply and installation of proposed replacement of fire alarm system to accommodation blocks at Withybush General Hospital.

Proposed works, work to include:

Upgrade of all Detection Loop equipment to the new AutroGuard range.

Upgrade of all sounders to the fully addressable and integrated sounder and alarm units.

Upgrade of existing Manual Callpoints to include all new units and incorporating cover plates as required.

Additional detection to the areas identified within the latest drawings (attached) and generally including, Lounge Areas, Corridors, IT Rooms, additional detection to ensure coverage to the agreed requirements and as detailed within the drawings.

Upgrade of the Loop Control Modules to new high-powered Loop Drivers with additional capacity where required. Note: 5 no. Detection Loops are to be split to provide the additional capacity to drive new and additional detection and alarm units (Please see Contractors details and Pack attached for further details).

Upgrade and revision of all text and Cause & Effect Programming for all systems and devices to the new and confirmed requirements of the Fire Officer and Cause & Effect Matrix.

New network Repeater Panel for the Residences within the Main Hospital.

Reconfiguration of the System Communications networking and associated communications hub equipment to ensure all information associated with the systems at the Residences are presented at the Main Hospital AutroMaster central graphics monitoring and control system at Switchboard.

The works shall consist of the complete supply and delivery to site, installation, site testing, commissioning, making good any defects that occur during the defects liability period of 12 months following hand over, provision of record drawings and operation and maintenance documents, the whole of the labour, and all the materials necessary to form a complete installation (whether or not all the necessary components are indicated).
