Monitoring Officer Services & Constitutional Advice to North Wales Fire & Rescue Authority

Description of the goods or services required

North Wales Fire & Rescue Authority are looking for a Supplier to provide Monitoring Officer Services and Constitutional Advice. The Services will be provided personally by a suitable qualified named individual (or named deputy in the event of absence or illness) and will include duties as detailed further within the attached Specification documents.

The contract will commence on 1st April 2022 and will run for an initial period of 3 years, with the option to extend for an additional 2 years in multiples of no more than 12 months.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

A 'Social Value' question will be asked as part of this tender process and scored accordingly. The supplier's response to this question will form part of the contract, rather than a specific community benefits clause.
