2.4 Total quantity or scope of tender

It is proposed to replace this obsolete form of speed control for the winder with a modern Inverter drive.

The Mines Inspectorate fully endorse all aspects of the sustainability electrical program, to ensure the winder is fit for duty and totally reliable.

The quotation must include the following items:

• Inverter drive (Preferably Parker)

• Grid Tied System

• Brake Resistance Bank

• Harmonic Filter

• EMC Filter

• Brake Chopper

• Shaft Encoder Control System

• Cable/ Various (415v supply)

• Joy Stick modifications to incorporate original drive method

• HMI panel

• Dedicated panel build to house all components

• Onsite commissioning, testing and training

• Provide all relevant documentation
