II.1.4) Short description
This project will be commissioned as a 24 hour supported accommodation move on option and will be the agreed pathway for individuals who have been placed in temporary accommodation, including those placed in bed and breakfast accommodation and hostels in RCT. The project will provide up to 9 months additional supported accommodation for single homeless people with complex needs. This project will provide a psychologically-informed short-term accommodation and support both male and female single homeless people.
The project will work (not exclusively) with individuals who have complex needs including mental health, substance misuse and alcohol issues.
The pathway currently attached to the hostel enables service users to move through the project to Abertonllwyd House in consideration of their support needs for additional supported accommodation.
The project will accommodate up to 8 people at any one time in the form of 8 24/7 self contained units (2 units on the ground floor are DDA Compliant). The provider shall be responsible for furnishing the 8 self contained flats, communal and staff areas, and will be resposnsible for repairing, maintaining and replacing these items through the duration of the contract at no cost to the Council.The contract term is for 3 year plus a 1+1 year extension

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The project will provide supported accommodation for single homeless people aged 18 and over who have been referred to the project and assessed as homeless and in need of support. The primary objective is to alleviate homelessness or prevent homelessness reoccurring.
The project will provide move on accommodation from Temporary Accommodation and offer service users with one to one support to help identify their needs, expectations and aspirations. Service users will participate in a range of planned activities that have been specifically designed to develop the skills they will need to manage a home.
Services will operate out of Abertonllwyd House, Treherbert, with Rhonnda Housing Association acting as Registered Social Landlord.
