NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre Trust is seeking to procure additional and upgrade existing the licenses for the Anaesthetics Rota System within Cardiff and Vale Health Board. The contract is for the renewal of user licenses that are bespoke to the systems already installed within the Health Board. There is no scope at present to change the system and changing the compatibility of the licenses will disrupt the service within the Surgery department.

The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive

Explanation

The Cardiff and Vale Health Board’s current contract is due to expire on the 13th April 2023. The Anaesthetics Rota System is the renewal for the online rota management service CLW Rota. In order for the service to utilised compliantly, all licenses must be upgraded and renewed on a regular basis. The contract is for the renewal/additional user licenses that are bespoke to the systems already installed within the Health Board. Changing the compatibility of the licenses will disrupt the service within the Surgery department.
