Abstract

Caerphilly County Borough Council sought bids via tender for the replacement for the curtain walling at Ty Sign Primary School. The scope of the project was fully described in the ITT but in summary the scope was: • Replacement of Curtain Walling to elevations 1, 2, 3 ,4 and 5 of the junior block and admin. (to match previously replaced elevations on other buildings). • Replacement of curtain walling to three atriums to the infants block. • Associated making good to ceilings, walls and floors to the perimeter of each room. • Removal and refitting of fixed furniture, IPS within the WC’s, radiators and electrical sockets. • Licensed and non licensed asbestos removal works.
