This will be a holistic, citizen led, high intensity supported housing project aimed to provide accommodation and support to citizens affected by homelessness who have mental health needs.
Citizens will have high level support needs with many needing support to develop basic independent living skills. The support provided will be flexible and person-centered, supporting people to overcome barriers to homelessness by addressing mental health, substance misuse or any other problems they may face, helping to improve their health and well-being.
For many people the cycle of homelessness is interwoven with complex issues such as relationship breakdown, domestic abuse, drugs and alcohol, mental health issues and offending. This project will provide safe, secure accommodation whilst supporting citizens to overcome issues by providing the right support to re-build self-esteem, confidence and improve mental wellbeing.
The contract value is estimated at this time, confirmed contract dimensions will be provided in the project specification.
