Grounds Maintenance Contract

Rhondda Housing Association (RHA)is seeking to establish a (3) year contract agreement by appointing a single suitably qualified contractor to undertake a comprehensive grounds maintenance service contract, including grass cutting, pruning, tree maintenance, weeding, spraying, etc for our various sites throughout the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff. RHA will seek proposals at tender stage that deliver its social, economic and environmental sustainability objectives. Additional information is set out in a Memorandum of Information(MOI)attached to the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire(PQQ)and which is available on request from Karl Ehlers at RHA.

Participants will have to achieve the minimum score as set out in the PQQ, including demonstration of skills, knowledge and experience to safely deliver the works, through submission of documentation, site examples and interviews.

Additional Information

A PQQ must be completed and returned by the return date set out in the PQQ. To obtain a PQQ, please contact Karl Ehlers (karl@rhondda.org) or at the email address listed in section I.1 above using the email subject heading "GROUNDS MAINTENANCE CONTRACT" providing your name, company name, address and email address for receiving the PQQ. Bidders can request a PQQ until five (5) days before the deadline for submission. RHA will not accept requests for PQQ's after this date.

Bidders requesting a PQQ will also be provided with a MOI which provides outline information in relation to the works being procured.

All tender costs and liabilities incurred by bidders shall be the sole responsibility of the bidders.

RHA reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part.

RHA reserves the right to annul the tendering process at any time and not award any contract.

RHA reserves the right to abandon the tendering process at any time.

The timetable set out in the PQQ is indicative only and RHA reserves the right to depart therefrom at any time.

All documents to be priced in Sterling and all payments made in Sterling.

Bidders should note that they will be required to enter into terms and conditions of contract as set out in the iTT and that save for matters of clarification or consistency RHA will not negotiate the terms of the contract.

Contract performance conditions may relate to social, economic and environmental considerations.
