Deep Cleaning of Town Centres within Blaenau Gwent CBC

Description of the goods or services required

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council are seeking tenders for the deep cleaning of it's town centres within the borough. The sites are:-

Abertillery

Blaina

Brynmawr

Ebbw Vale (including Multi-Storey steps)

Tredegar

The works will include the following requirements:-

1. Removal of deep stains (including oil, diesel, bird droppings, algae and fast food stains.

2. Washing of pavements.

3. Washing of street furniture including metal benches, bollards, litter bins, stainless steel hoop signs and railings.

4. Removal of graffiti (unless scratched into surface).

5. Cleaning and stain removal on walls.

The works will be carried out once per year, initially on Sundays during the months of October / November 2016 and then during the month of July for any subsequent years.

The cleansing must be undertaken on a Sunday between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00pm.

There may also be a requirement to provide an ad-hoc cleaning service as and when required.
