The Engineering Education Scheme Wales runs the STEM Cymru2 Operation which encourages young

people in the 11 to 19 year age range to participate in innovative technological & engineering activities to

contextualise & improve skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. This raises aspiration and

attainment levels in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing, increasing numbers of students

entering employment, FE and HE in these economically vital areas.

The Engineering Education Scheme Wales Ltd is currently seeking an Area Representative, who will work

in the West Wales and Valleys region under the supervision of the regional co-ordinator to promote all

STEM Cymru activities and to set up and maintain 6th form projects.
