Greenhouse Gas Projection Tool

Description of the goods or services required

The Welsh Government requires a spread sheet tool to forecast greenhouse gas emissions for sectors in the Welsh economy. The tool will provide evidence for the setting of appropriate Carbon Budgets for Wales and interim targets. The projections will include impacts of both Welsh and UK wide related policies. The results of the modelling will inform discussions on future policies and proposals which impact on carbon emissions in sectors of the Welsh economy. In addition to construction of the projection tool, the Client may also require further assistance in the emissions quantification and development of related policies and proposals.

Contract length - 12 months with an option to extend for an additional 12 months ( subject to a 6 monthly review )

Total quantity or scope of tender

A budget of £70,000 and £100,000 (excluding VAT) will be made available by the Client for the purposes of this contract. However, tenderers should be aware that this budget information is for indicative purposes only and that the Client will be seeking to award the contract on the basis of the award criteria stated in the specification.

- The first person from your Organisation to use the Platform will be required to register on behalf of the Organisation.
