We are seeking to appoint Health, Social Care and Children’s Care, Learning, Development and Play experts under a contract for services to assist us using their knowledge, understanding and experience of teaching in school / Further Education (FE)/ Higher Education (HE) or the workplace, and/or assessment, to assist us in our approval process through the review of Health & Social Care qualification materials submitted by the Consortium (City & Guilds and WJEC).
This work will ensure that the qualifications comply with Qualifications Wales’ Approval Criteria requirements, and that qualifications and the Welsh qualification system are effective for meeting the reasonable needs of learners and employers in Wales, promoting public confidence in qualifications and the Welsh qualification system.
An event will be held at Qualifications Wales office in Newport on Tuesday 21st November 2017, the aim of which is to brief potential applicants about the Health and Social Care review, expert role and approval process.
