Abstract
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service on behalf of ourselves, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are looking to put a framework in place for the provision of Reach Poles for Water Rescue.
The requirement is for two types of reach pole. These have been split in to two Lots and suppliers may bid to supply either one or both Lots.
Lot 1 - The equipment needs to be extendable within the following guidelines:-
• Fully Stowed length - maximum of 2m
• Fully Extended length - minimum of 4m
Lot 2 - The equipment needs to be extendable within the following guidelines:-
• Fully Stowed length - maximum of 5m
• Fully Extended length - minimum of 17m
This procurement exercise will establish a framework for the provision of Reach Poles for a period of 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
