EIP Liver fluke monitoring

Description of the goods or services required

This EIP project is assessing risk areas on farms to liver fluke.

This tender document has been prepared to procure the following services

1. Provision of Environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling and qualitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) based analysis techniques and associated consumables to map the prevalence of snails/ fluke infected snails on the sites identified on each farm in the group.

2. Provision of research services to collate data, map areas where fluke is prevalent on each farm, and advise the farmer group in relation to the implementation of fluke management strategies to reduce fluke prevalence on each farm.
