Hywel Dda University Health board has a tender requirement the supply and Install Fire Stopping for Bronglais General Hospital, Fire Stopping on Stairwells.

The work comprises the fire stopping of all penetrations, holes and voids in the vertical escape stairwells and main communication stairwells at Bronglais Hospital. Fire stopping is needed due to the enforcement notice submitted by the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MWWFRS). The compartment walls in the stairwell areas need to be firestopped to a 60 minutes fire resistance standard. Any area that is classed as vertical escape will require firestopping. This list is not exhaustive.
