Description of the goods or services required
The University of South Wales is one of Britain’s most exciting universities and a major player in the UK higher education sector. With over 25,000 students, we are an innovative, thriving and sustainable institution that is making a significant contribution to the economic, social and cultural prosperity of the region and beyond.
Our core purpose is to add value to students, through applied research and innovation, and through engagement with the economy and society of our region and the wider world. This purpose informs our vision, our strategic goals and how we focus and deliver our academic activities through our Strategic Plan.
Based across three campus locations in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd, our reach is both deep and wide. Within our Group structure are the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, which is the National Conservatoire for Wales, and a college of further education (The College Merthyr Tydfil). In addition, the University has active partnerships with all further education colleges across the region to facilitate access and progression to our programmes
Across the university, we place our values at the heart of everything we do: professional; responsive; creative; inspiring; and collaborative.
We are looking for outstanding leaders who embody these values and who can work with the talented staff in the faculties and beyond to build on successes and lead to the delivery of USW Strategy 2030.
Following changes to the structures of our Faculty leadership teams within the University of South Wales, we are seeking to appoint to 10 vacancies at Deputy Dean and Associate Dean level. This is an exciting time of change and an opportunity to bring in new and diverse talent to drive forward our Strategy 2030, utilising a specialist search agent to enable this goal.
