Abstract

AWARD OF CONTRACT Introduction: The purpose of the programme is to support such individuals to undertake their roles more effectively and confidently and therefore as part of the programme Social Care Wales would like to offer executive coaching to all delegates. We are therefore seeking to appoint a suitable provider, or consortium, to deliver, arrange, coordinate and manage this coaching element of our programme of support, in partnership with us. We anticipate an estimation of ten participants on this programme requiring 3 coaching sessions each. This programme will commence in November 2023 and thus final numbers will be confirmed nearer the time although we do not anticipate them to change drastically. What is required / ‘The Requirements’: The Supplier must provide a pool of coaches for this programme, ideally a minimum of four, including an ability to fluently speak Welsh, experience working at a senior executive level in the public sector and with a background in social care or health. We would like the delegates taking part in this programme to have the option to select their own coach and therefore would like the Supplier to have an initial interaction with all delegates to help them understand the value of coaching and how best to select the right coach for them. As part of this process the Supplier must create and share coaching profiles to all delegates including imagery, background and relevant experience to help guide their decision. Such profiles must first be shared and approved by Social Care Wales before circulation. All three coaching sessions per delegate should be with the same coach. Following delegate selection of coaches, the Supplier is required to arrange, co-ordinate and manage the individual coaching sessions with each delegate directly. A minimum of one out of the three sessions should be face to face in an agreed location. Regular correspondence with Social Care Wales is required to ensure any feedback or concerns are addressed throughout the life of the contract. Aims and objectives Through provision of executive coaching services for all directors withing Social Care Wales’ programme of support, we aim to achieve: - An enhanced element of one-to-one support for all delegates - Added value to the programme through exploration of individual challenges or goals - A clear understanding of the benefits and advantages of taking take in executive for all delegates - A personalised selection process to allocate the most appropriate coach to each delegate Please see specification for more detail
