Drystone Wall Repairs

Description of the goods or services required

The National Trust is seeking quotations for the repair of 100 metres of existing drystone wall within the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (BBNP) at a site known as Ty Mawr, close to Libanus.

The contract is scheduled to commence on 5th November 2025 and to be completed by the 31st March 2026.

100 metres of existing drystone wall to be repaired to a minimum standard as detailed in the Drystone Walling Association (DSWA) Technical Note (see attached document Drystone Walling RFQ). The repair work should be carried out in such a way as to ensure the same style of walling as the adjacent standing sections of wall is continued.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required

Previous experience in Drystone Walling to a standard set out by the Drystone Walling Association (DSWA)

Suitable Public and Employee Liability Insurance in place when work is being carried out.

Ability to complete work within the contract timeframe stated.
