We are looking for a maximum of 5 contractors to work with us to deliver our EWI schemes across the Torfaen Borough. We currently have 8,000 properties some houses, high rises, bungalows, flats, tower blocks and sheltered accommodation.
The framework will be run using mini competitions for the 5 main contractors.
There may be occasions when roofing work will also need to be completed. Please note we will allow for sub contracting, however where possible we would like these sub contractors to be a local SME. Please note that Bron Afon must approve any sub contractors before any work is conducted.
There may be occasions when asbestos work may also need to be undertaken, the main contractors will have to hold asbestos awareness accreditation as a minimum. It will be the sole responsibility of the contractor to sub contract any asbestos work out to a suitable qualified contractor.
