Roof Works to Buckley Complex

Description of the goods or services required

Natural Resources Wales are seeking tenders for a contract to carry out roof repair works to the Buckley store building at the Buckley Office Complex, Chester Road, Buckley CH7 3AJ.

Background information

The Buckley store building comprises a 6-bay commercial specification store building, constructed from solid block walls with cement render finish under a profiled fibre cement roof covering supported by a timber purlins. A small electrical plant room and drying room building is attached to the western elevation; the flat roof covering is bitumen felt on, presumably, plywood sheeting.

The profiled fibre cement sheeting has deteriorated causing the roof to leak. However, rather than remove this defective covering, the intention is to retain this fibre cement sheeting and ‘over-roof’ or ‘over-sheet’ with new replacement sheeting.

Likewise, the felt roof covering to the plant room / drying room is defective and is also to be over roofed.

e. Click on 'Express Interest' button in the 'Actions' box on the left hand side of the page.

3. Once you have expressed your interest, the ITT will move to 'My ITTs', where you can download and where you can construct your reply as instructed.
