Abstract
The SMARTAQUA project will serve as a technological spring board and exemplar of integrated multi-tropic aquaculture (IMTA), thereby helping to increase sustainable finfish production, and opening new markets through the production of organic fish and high value micro-algae.
Swansea University have recently completed the creation of a new SmartAqua centre which will serve as a technological spring board and exemplar of integrated multi-tropic aquaculture (IMTA), thereby helping to increase sustainable finfish production, and opening new markets through the production of organic fish and high value micro-algae.
This procurement process is to source a suitable provider of three separate fully functioning self-contained zebrafish rack systems to be used in this new SmartAqua centre to further enhance the scope of the project.
