Abstract
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant, to provide a review and future options proposal on the provision of its Emergency Duty Team within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Region.
The requirement of the contract is to undertake a review of the out of hours Emergency Duty Service currently provided by an emergency duty team (EDT) and propose options for the future of the service. The EDT currently provides a service to three local authority areas, namely, Rhondda Cynon Taf, (RCT) Merthyr Tydfil and Bridgend which covers the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health footprint. RCT is currently the host authority where line management is located within the Children’s Services dept.
