Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

Tenderers are to submit a method statement in the form of a community benefits plan setting out how they will deliver ‘community benefits’ through the Contract, this statement is to be completed in Appendix 1a and will not be scored, however the successful Tenderer will be required to deliver any proposed benefits during the term of the Contract.

In addition to any community benefit proposal Tenderers are required as a condition of the Contract to make a cash donation to support the Bron Afon Community Grants Fund. The value of the cash donation will be calculated annually based on contract spend and must as a minimum equal to 1% of annual contract value. This is a pass/fail criteria.

The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
