Abstract

Corporate Health and Safety of Caerphilly County Borough Council, has the requirement for a suitably qualified provider to inspect the Design and Technology (D & T) equipment within secondary schools and other establishments. The Authority currently has ten (10) maintained schools and three (3) establishments that require an annual inspection of their Design and Technology equipment. The inspection reports need to highlight an inventory of all relevant equipment and LEV extraction on the school/establishment site. Inspecting engineers must have relevant accredited qualification and/or experience to service this arrangement. Furthermore the Officers must have experience of working within schools/such establishments, able to supply references of working within a school environment and provide quality guarantees and warranties. Evidence of any accreditations or membership to any professional bodies must be supplied as part of the tender submission. The procurement process for this arrangement will follow a two-stage, Open Procedure. Stage One - Selection Stage - shall consist of Pass / Fail questions. Stage Two - Award Stage - All Service Providers that successfully pass all elements of the selection stage will progress on to the Award Stage. This stage will be evaluated using the Most Economical Advantageous Tender (MEAT) criterion, structured as; Price 40% / Quality 60%. Full details can be found in the ITT. Title

Description of the goods or services required
