Abstract

Our staff conference is an annual event, designed to bring all Social Care Wales colleagues from across Wales together. This year’s conference will be hold in Cardiff City Hall on Thursday 28 September (9.30-16.30). We’re expecting circa 200 - 220 people in attendance at this year’s conference. Social Care Wales has rapidly expanded over the last couple of years, and many people have not yet had the chance to get to know each other, partly due to our recent transition to a a hybrid model of working. For this reason, the theme of this year’s event is “Getting to know each other and what we do.” We’re looking for support to design the conference, including developing the skills of Social Care Wales staff to lead and facilitate activities on the day and providing a bilingual (Welsh/English) host. We are looking for innovative methods of delivery to create an event that is participative, inclusive, focused and of course, enjoyable.

Description of the goods or services required

Total quantity or scope of tender

Budget

The budget for the event will be between £5,000 and £10,000 inclusive of VAT and as such we are therefore relying upon receiving realistic pricing from suppliers which includes a breakdown of activities, including expenses.

The Supplier will provide full financial breakdown of the costs associated with the work.

Prices must be quoted in pounds sterling and clearly state if VAT will or will not be charged.

Length of contract

The contract will run from 19 June 2023 to 29 September 2023.
