II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Service Provider will provide an integrated therapeutic and confidential counselling service to ensure children and young people are helped and supported to improve or maintain their emotional mental health and wellbeing.
The service will be provided to the following target groups:
-All pupils attending Secondary Schools or Year 6 in a Primary School within RCT (including those attending Pupil Referral Units, Special Schools and those Education Other than at school (including home tuition).
-Year 3-5 Primary School children where there has been a significant loss or trauma.
-Young people living in RCT aged 10-25.
The services which are the subject of this procurement fall within schedule 3 to the new Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (“the 2015
Regulations”) and accordingly the “Light Touch Regime”, as set out in Regulations 74-77 of the 2015 Regulations.
