II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales requires a Contractor to deliver a Police Youth Volunteer Scheme. The Scheme will provide many opportunities for the PYVs. It will deliver awareness raising inputs on subjects directly related to issues within the community, to citizenship, policing and self-reliance, physical activities and social action opportunities to support local policing and community priorities. The ultimate aim is to develop the PYV to become more resilient and divert them from engagement in harmful behaviours or crime.
