Abstract
Welsh Government’s Tourism and Marketing team is responsible for promoting Wales as a tourism and business destination in domestic and international markets as well as for the Cymru Wales nation brand as a unified approach to the broader promotion of Wales.
The team requires a bespoke training programme to be able to continue to deliver in a challenging and competitive landscape. The team needs to refresh essential skills and develop new, innovative ways of working to drive forward activity against departmental policies and plans.
The requirement includes:
1) An assessment of the needs, skills gaps and priority areas for training
2) A bespoke, modular training programme based on the needs identified, which could include e.g. coaching sessions, webinars/seminars, as well as 1-2-1 sessions.
