Cardiff University - Bus Services Tender

Description of the goods or services required

Cardiff University (the “University”) is undertaking a competitive tender process under the Open Procedure, in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the “Regulations”) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 for the procurement of a Framework for Ad-hoc Bus Services, Framework for International Arrivals Services and a contract for Residences Shuttle Bus Service.

Cardiff University wishes to provide transport services for students and staff of the University. These services include the transportation of students and staff between University buildings (via a shuttle bus), day excursions (ad-hoc), ad-hoc fixed term contracts and the collection of students from various UK airports. Most of the requirements will occur during the academic term (approximately 46 weeks per annum, September – June with breaks during key holiday periods, e.g. Christmas and Easter).

This tender is split into 3 Lots as follows:

Lot 1 Ad-hoc Day Hire (Framework) including fixed term contracts

Lot 2 Shuttle Bus (Contract)

Lot 3 International Arrivals (Framework)

Bidders can bid for one or more lots and will be awarded on separate terms for each lot if successful for one or more lots.
