Life Sciences Hub Wales requires that its offices are maintained at an acceptable standard of cleanliness to

support hygienic working conditions and a safe working environment. As such, Life Sciences Hub Wales

seeks to procure Office Cleaning Services via a single Supplier, for its head office location in Cardiff.

Office Cleaning Services are required Monday to Friday, four hours daily between the hours of 18:00 to 05:00.

However, at Life Sciences Hub Wales’s sole discretion, flexibility outside of these hours may be required.

The office consists of three meeting rooms, one boardroom, one media room, one media pod, one conference

suite, one kitchen area, one cloakroom/locker area and a main office area. The overall floor size is 12,489

sqft. (1,160.3 sqm).

The successful Supplier must provide the full extent of the Life Sciences Hub Wales Office Cleaning Services

requirement and to provide ongoing support as necessary to ensure continuity of the expected level of quality

and service.

Minimum standards and qualification required

The successful Supplier must confirm that all staff to be deployed to the Life Sciences Hub Wales, if successful, have received Manual Handling training.

The successful Supplier must confirm that their organisation has a Lone Working policy in place.

The successful Supplier must confirm that COSHH information and data sheets will be provided for all applicable products used on Life Sciences Hub Wales premises, if successful.

Additional Information

Suppliers participating in the tender process are invited to attend a site visit at the Life Sciences Hub Wales Cardiff office in which to conduct a review of the office site.

Site visits are to be held on 25th August 2021, requests to attend the site visits are to be sent to tenders@lshubwales.com.
