Abstract

This scheme proposes to upgrade the Conwy County Borough Council Active Travel Route PBWR03B, from a footpath (away from a road), to a 3m wide shared foot/cycle path. It will also provide a new link to the PBWR03A route which includes Llanrhos Road and Derwen lane. This tender, Phase 1, will only consider the section of path from its junction with Llanrhos Road for a distance of 350 metres northwards. A new 2m wide (minimum) footway will also be constructed on Llanrhos Road to link residents of Llanrhos Road and Marine Terrace to the new shared foot/cycle path link. A new street lighting system will be installed as part of the works.

2 Contract Details

2.1 Title

Llanrhos Road to Plas Penrhyn Footpath Improvements, Penrhyn Bay - Phase 1

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

A new 2m wide (minimum) footway will also be constructed on Llanrhos Road to link residents of Llanrhos Road and Marine Terrace to the new shared foot/cycle path link. A new street lighting system will be installed as part of the works.
