Abstract
The Wales Coast Path (WCP) is the world’s first continuous footpath that follows a country’s coastline in its entirety. It is 870 miles / 1,400 km long and takes in some of world’s most breath-taking coastline. It was launched in 2012 with significant PR and marketing resources. It is managed through a partnership of Natural Resources Wales (NRW),16 coastal local authorities, landowners, two National Parks and key stakeholders including Visit Wales and Welsh Government.
We have recently developed a refreshed new strategy and vision for the Wales Coast Path and budget has been allocated to procure a PR/Advertising/Digital campaign from July 2018- March 2020 to promote our aims and objectives
