An award of contract has been made by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council to commission a supported living service for up to three people in a newly refurbished four bedroomed property in Rhydding, near Neath, where the support for this new service will involve delivering a customised package of care support to individuals in line with their assessed needs.
The contract will be for a period of three years with the option to extend by a period or periods of up to a further 24 months. As the service is new, there will be no TUPE requirements.

The development of the Rhydding Scheme is likely to be completed by the RSL in mid-end October with residents moving in thereafter rather than August which was the initial scheduled date.
