Abstract

Caernarfon Library is located at Pavilion Hill Caernarfon LL55 1AS, and houses an estimated 215,000 of books on site. 150,000 books are kept on shelving in a large storeroom at the back of the Building. The exisiting shelving has been in place since 1982 and the tracks they are placed on have become damaged, allowing the wheel on each mobile carriage to roll off the tracks.and therefore now need replacing,
