VI.3) Additional information
1. Please note that the "Estimated Value" for Lots 1 & 2 is an indication of the overall value of each Lot.
2. The Contractor is advised that pressures exerted by Welsh Government upon the Authority’s future operating budgets may result in the need for the Authority to cancel some contracted Bus Routes. It is therefore essential that operators do not rely solely on the potential business generated by this series of contracts to invest in new vehicles and if they do it shall be done entirely at their own risk.
3. Due to the uncertainty of budgets going forward, it is prudent of the Authority to plan and award the Contract(s) on a Route by Route basis for a period of One (1) year (with options to extend for periods of up to Twelve (12) months each, and up to a maximum extension period available of Forty Eight (48) months commencing on 01st November 2016. Please refer to 2 above.
