Description of how multiple lots may be awarded
The Council is seeking to appoint more than 1 Supplier to each Lot (currently the award of 5 ranked suppliers on each of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5, 8, 9 and 10, with 7 ranked suppliers appointed to both Lot 6 and Lot 7, is being decided upon) and therefore reserves the right to appoint the same Supplier to multiple Lots (since tenderers are not restricted to the number of Lots they wish to be considered for, so may submit a bid for 1 or more Lots).
However, Suppliers are asked to note that all Lots except for Lot 6. General Minor Works below £50,000 and Lot 7. General Minor Works between £50,000 and £250,000 (where Works will be planned in advance and call-off contracts awarded from a selective competitive process), will include a direct award call-off for very urgent and/or low value (threshold to be decided) Works to the top-ranked supplier. Therefore, it is the Supplier’s responsibility to ensure that they have adequate resources and sufficient capacity, should they be successfully awarded onto each Lot they bid for.
