Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake refurbishment works at 33 Cambrian Street, Aberystwyth, SY23 1NZ, a vacant former retail property in the town centre.
The works comprise the refurbishment of the existing retail unit, replacement of the polycarbonate roof covering the rear courtyard, and refurbishment of the two-storey ancillary building to the rear, including replacement of the existing asbestos cement roof and front cladding.
The contract includes all necessary design development, coordination, construction, testing, certification and completion of the works, including any contractor-designed elements, specialist works and associated statutory compliance requirements.
The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering a safe, complete and compliant refurbishment in accordance with the tender documentation, performance specifications and associated architectural drawings.
