III.1.1) Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers
List and brief description of conditions:
It is a legal requirement for operatives setting up temporary traffic management on the public highway to hold the Unit 2 NRSWA (signing, lighting and guarding) Streetworks qualification card. The National Highways Sector Schemes accreditation is a requirement for those working on all Highways Agency controlled roads. The Council has adopted this industry standard.
It will be a mandatory requirement for all suppliers to hold a Health & Safety Accreditation through an SSIP approved Scheme under this Framework Agreement.
