Abstract

Provision for providing locksmith services and maintenance: General Domestic Requirements Custody Cell Door Servicing The General Domestic Requirements are the day to day activity such as locked offices, broken locks and routine replacement. It should be noted that all work undertaken in custody areas will be video recorded and in the event of an incident the contractor may be summoned to provide evidence at Court. Vetting Level NPPV3 required. Evidence an excellent knowledge of all types of locks and working within this environment essential. Custody Cell Door Servicing will be in line with Home Office Advice and undertaken every 4 months. This is a two man job. The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive service for the servicing, repair and replacement of all types of locks within Police buildings and associated equipment covering the total geographic area of North Wales as and when required. The Contractor shall provide the service 24/7 365 days per year. Standard hours for NWP are 07.00 – 18.00 Days and 18.00 – 07.00 Nights. Response time is 3 (three) hours from initial contact / call-out The Contractor is responsible for providing all associated tools and equipment, labour, chemicals and safety clothing necessary to complete the service any non-compliance with this may result in a Breach of Conditions of Contract Method Statements and Risk Assessments will be required via e mail to the Facilities Helpdesk for each job and the Locksmith must notify the Helpdesk on completion of the work
