Abstract

Disability Sport Wales are tendering for the development, maintenance, and hosting of a web based portal. A proposed model for delivery which will meet the required specification requirements (including where possible a wireframe or detailed overview of functionality, and an overview of where data and any pursuant back-ups live) will be required. Companies wishing to tender for the insport Portal contract will be offered a 1hr facilitated session with the DSW Partnership Manager and insport Programme Manager in order to view and explore the functionality of the insport Portal live. - In line with GDPR requirements a shared log in to the portal will not be available. - Date of facilitated session: 25th January 2021 Any contract awarded as a result of this tender will be awarded to the provider who is able to successfully demonstrate the ability to provide an efficient, competent, reliable and cost-effective service. The following process will be followed: - Scoring of the tenders submitted (as identified below) - Invitation to the two highest scoring tenders to meet with representatives from the FDSW Finance and Assurance Committee to discuss the proposed methodology, costs and value-added. Interviews are scheduled for 16th February 2021

Description of the goods or services required

Disability Sport Wales are tendering for the development, maintenance, and hosting of a web based portal.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Services include the build, development and maintenance of an updated online portal which provides Disability Sport Wales with a mechanism to engage with, and support, multiple organisations and users in an efficient, user friendly and supportive web-based environment.

Any quotation for the hosting, management, upkeep, maintenance and development of the insport portal including the setting out of future revision in fees in years 2 and 3. The quotation should include VAT and details of whether the firm proposes to charge expenses, and if so on what basis.

The quotation for the hosting, management, upkeep, maintenance and development should include tiered options for consideration;

Bronze: hosting and fixed day rate for development and maintenance within contract

Silver: hosting and 6 days per annum for development and maintenance within contract

Gold: hosting and identified bespoke development and maintenance support package

Including the build, the successful firm will be appointed for a period of three years covering the financial years ending 2022, 2023, and 2024. At the end of the three-year period there will be an option to extend the term for a further two 1-year periods, at the discretion of and with approval from the Board.

The total budget to build is up to £30,000 with an additional ongoing host, development and support budget of up to £10,500 over 3 years (£17,500 over 5 years).
