II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Tai Tarian Limited is seeking to engage Contractors with a proven track record of delivering best practice on comparable contracts and able to work pro-actively with Tai Tarian to assist in delivering its social and environmental agenda within the communities in which it operates.
Tai Tarian Limited is seeking to appoint a maximum of eight (8) contractors to a 4 year Framework Agreement. It is anticipated that work will be allocated to contractors through ‘Call-off Contracts’ and the work content will be awarded on individual void properties basis. ‘Call-offs’ will be issued on the basis of the contractor’s, capacity, and location consideration will also be given to performance against KPI’s when allocating works, and this will determine how many voids any one Contractor has at one time.
It is anticipated that Tai Tarian Limited will award approximately 18 million gbp in works over the contract period. Approximately 4.5millon gbp of works, per annum. Equating to approximately 560k per contractor. Tai Tarian carry out on average 700 voids per annum. The contractors can expect to be awarded via call offs approximately, 90 void refurbishments of various values, and complexity per annum.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
Tai Tarian is committed to contributing to the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of the wider community. Consequently Community Benefits will be a mandatory contract clause. Therefore, as a minimum requirement, Tenderers will have to agree that community benefits will become part of the contract, if a Tenderer does not agree to this, then the Tenderer will be rejected.
