Abstract

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is inviting a tender from interested Providers to support the delivery of plain film radiographer reporting services. BCUHB currently provides a plain film radiographer reporting service 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 1pm-5pm Saturday and Sunday. From 19th May 2021 there will be a shortfall in reporting capacity of around 26 hours per week due to maternity leave. This shortfall is likely to continue for a period of 12-15 months. Additional plain film reporting capacity is required for the period to maintain reporting turnaround times targets and reduce the risks inherent with delayed diagnosis.
