Contract for of the provision of Laundry Services for the Police and Crime Commissioners for South Wales and Gwent.The Contractor shall collect cell blankets, anti-rip blankets, anti-rip trousers, anti-rip tops, wrist guards, hand towels, bath towels, tea towels, pillow cases, duvet covers, bed sheets and table clothes (“Laundry”) from Gwent Police and South Wales Police premises. All Laundry shall be thoroughly washed, rinsed and finished by recognised and accepted processes in line with the manufactures instructions, which do not cause damage, undue deterioration, distortion or untoward creasing of the fabric and which leave the Laundry in a clean and fresh condition, and otherwise in accordance with the Specification, to the satisfaction of the Commissioner. All clean Laundry shall be delivered back to the point of collection.
