Ceredigion County Council on behalf of Food Centre Wales is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide a complete turnkey solution for the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and support of a pilot-scale multi-stage spray dryer with an integrated fluidised bed.
The equipment will be used within Food Centre Wales' Innovation and Manufacturing Hub to support food and beverage product development, process optimisation and scale-up trials. The system must be capable of simulating larger industrial spray drying processes and producing dust-free agglomerated powder products suitable for research, development and validation activities.
The contract includes equipment supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, operator training, warranty support and the provision of all associated documentation required to place the equipment into full operational service. The proposed solution must comply with all relevant UK legislation, safety requirements and industry standards applicable to food processing equipment.
The estimated value is between £300,000 and £320,000 for the full term of the contract including all extensions. Please note that the contract value provided within this notice represents an estimate prepared by the Council. It is issued for guidance only and does not constitute a fixed budget or an indication of the expected contract price. Bidders are expected to submit a competitive bid based on market prices.

Rhaid i'r datrysiad arfaethedig gydymffurfio â'r holl ddeddfwriaeth berthnasol yn y DU, y gofynion diogelwch, a safonau'r diwydiant sy'n gymwys i offer prosesu bwyd.
Amcangyfrifir bod gwerth y contract rhwng £300,000 a £320,000 am gyfnod llawn y contract, gan gynnwys unrhyw estyniadau. Dylid nodi bod gwerth y contract a ddarperir yn yr hysbysiad hwn yn cynrychioli amcangyfrif a baratowyd gan y Cyngor. Fe'i cyhoeddir at ddibenion canllaw yn unig ac nid yw'n gyfystyr â chyllideb sefydlog nac yn arwydd o bris contract disgwyliedig.
